A Long Proud History

GT Design and Marketing was founded in 1990 by Graeme Thomson. Together with his wife Janis they created a company which the current owners were proud and honoured to take over in May 2022.

We supply a large proportion of garments for the tourist trade in Scotland and there is a good chance that if you have ever bought an embroidered hoodie or beanie in a gift shop in the west of Scotland that it was decorated in our East Kilbride factory.

Increasingly we are working on the growing demand for branded workwear with businesses more aware than ever of the marketing and other benefits of having their employees smartly turned out in their smart uniforms.

Embroidery

Garment embroidery is our specialism. We embroider everything from beanie hats, hoodies and sweatshirts to jackets, fleeces and polo shirts. We embroider on our two, four headed, machines which gives us great capacity to turn around even the largest orders quickly and efficiently.

Garment Printing

Sometimes for certain designs or type of garments then embroidery might not be the best solution and that's where we use our experience to suggest that it may be more beneficial to have them printed.

Our vivid coloured printed transfers can bring your designs to life and are also particularly useful for applying numbers, badges and sponsors logos to sports kits.
